Abstract: Psychodrama is yet a relatively unexplored therapy modality with a limited empirical evidencebase. In this paper, it is argued that psychodrama should be the subject of robust experimentation in order to explore its use in the context of being a therapeutic tool for alleviating socializationrelated anxiety in patients with autism spectrum disorder. After a description of psychodramatic therapy, its dynamics, and its ties to previously existing findings, preliminary experiments exploring psychodramatic treatment of autistic subjects are discussed, and a novel experiment is proposed.
