Title: | STATUS QUO BIAS, RATIONALITY, AND CONSERVATISM ABOUT VALUE |
Authors: | Nebel, Jacob |

Department: | Philosophy |
Class Year: | 2013 |
Abstract: | My thesis is about status quo bias, which is our tendency to prefer the current state of affairs just because it’s the status quo. I argue that status quo bias may, in some cases, be fully rational, and this claim has implications for the nature of value. |
