Abstract: | Loving Others in the Age of Self-Care comes at a time when self-care and self-love tell us to remove people from our lives who are not directly benefiting our own well-being. This movement has caused friction in many people’s core beliefs to put others before themselves and to work hard to improve the lives of others. The thesis specifically focuses on friendships - the relationship that C.S. Lewis calls “the most unnecessary and unnatural.” |
