| Abstract: | The design and construction of a many-channel DAC to be used in a quantum computing laboratory is described. Previous work on a similar project as well as initial prototypes are discussed. The final version is capable of outputting 40 low-noise programmable channels of DC and is controlled by a computer over Ethernet. The device is designed to be control-software-agnostic. Any front end software that construct and send TCP packets can be used, including MATLAB, LabVIEW, and others. |
