Nietzsche Fine Dharma Blossom Redeeming God From The Clutches Of The Übermensch

Abstract

Throughout his career, Friedrich Nietzsche put forth a doctrine of philosophy that is, on surface, decidedly anti-­‐spiritual. However, Nietzsche’s skepticism of the unselfing process, or the process of individual depersonalization, in fact accords with the teaching of Perennialist spiritualism, as epitomized by Mahāyāna Buddhism, since the doctrine of no self makes an absurdity of the notion of individual enlightenment.
