New data of the understudied Garhwali (Indo-Aryan, northern central) dialects of Tehri (particularly the western extreme) is presented, along with a synchronic analysis of the verbal syntax and diachronic analysis of nominal morphology. I propose a novel explanation for a phenomenon of verbs being fronted ahead of the rest of the verbal domain, and continue to chart out possible reconstructions of the history of postpositions, embedded in particular constructions, across dialects.en_US
