Abstract: | During the past decade ubiquitous mobile computing emerged in the form of laptops, tablets, and smartphones. It is common for these devices to see numerous available access points (APs). Past work is able to multiplex Internet traffic across multiple APs through a single interface, but assumes a classic TCP/IP stack. This paper introduces LEVERS, an extension of the 802.11 MadWi driver that works with a Service Access Layer to leverage efficient flow migration across APs to increase mobility and preemptively balance load. |
